Ralph Gentry RT (R)(MR)(CT) is the Supervisor CT/MRI Cardiovascular Medicine-Corporate at Beaumont Health, Royal Oak, Michigan. Mr. Gentry is currently the Chair of the SCCT Technologist Committee and serves on the SCCT Board of Directors. He has also served as a faculty moderator at SCCT Annual Scientific Meetings and Webinars, and he is a moderator of the Technologist and Nurse Workshop at SCCT2016.
Mr. Gentry attended St. John Hospital School of Radiologic Technology in Detroit, Michigan where he passed the Registry Exam along with the Advanced Registry in Computed Tomography and Advanced Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Before becoming the Supervisor CT/MRI Cardiovascular Medicine-Corporate at Beaumont Health, he held previous positions as the Lead MRI Technologist in St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren, Michigan, as a CT/MRI Technologist, Transporter at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan and as a MRI Technologist Wayne-Macomb MRI in Roseville, Michigan.
Mr. Gentry was hired by Beaumont Health in 2002 to start MRI and CT research in the Cardiology Department. Throughout his career he has published 11 papers and 5 abstracts.
